Fourth of July BBQ at Tacaro
Let’s start with the main event: our Fourth of July BBQ, held right here on the grounds of the estate. It’s a guest favorite every year, and for good reason. Expect fresh, seasonal dishes hot off the grill, cozy seating under the porch by our outdoor fireplaces, and our signature craft cocktails available to enjoy while you mingle, relax, and take in the warm summer air. Whether you’re here with your partner, friends, or extended family, it’s the kind of laid-back gathering that captures the spirit of the season.
Fireworks on the Bay
Tacaro Estate puts on a private fireworks show for its guests on its lower field! Many of our guests love to take in the view from Tacaro’s upper balconies or right from the front lawn and pool area. The sparkling reflections over the pool make it all feel like something out of a movie.
The Town of Chesapeake Beach is also hosting their annual show on Thursday, July 3 at 7:30 PM. You can view the fireworks from the North Beach boardwalk, just a short drive from Tacaro. It’s a charming, family-friendly way to get into the holiday spirit a day early.
Local Happenings in North Beach
Looking to explore more during the weekend? North Beach is just minutes away and offers plenty to do:
- Thursday, July 3: Head to the boardwalk in the evening for waterfront views and a front-row seat to the Chesapeake Beach fireworks.
- Friday, July 4: While town offices will be closed for the holiday, the beach and boardwalk remain open for strolls, bike rides, and seaside lounging. This will also be First Friday, which is an amazing evening outdoor market that is held every month with booths and food galore!
- Saturday, July 5: Don’t miss the North Beach Farmers’ Market, open from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM. It’s the perfect spot to grab local produce, baked goods, fresh flowers, and artisan items to take home as souvenirs.
